This website is a collaborative project of the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) and the Kansas Department of Transportation (KDOT).  Resources from the Kansas Strategic Prevention Framework State Incentive Grant (SPF-SIG) to Reduce Underage Drinking administered by SRS and Enforcing Underage Drinking Laws Program which is administered by the Bureau of Transportation Safety & Technology were used to initiate this online resource to provide up-to-date information and resources to help Kansas families reduce and prevent underage drinking and its consequences.

The Strategic Prevention Framework Grant is funded through the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration’s (SAMHSA) Center for Substance Abuse Prevention and the grant is managed by the Kansas Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services.

The goals of the SPF-SIG in Kansas include delaying the onset and reducing underage drinking and related problems that impact Kansas communities.

KDOT’s Bureau of Transportation Safety & Technology works to reduce the incidence of underage drinking and driving and, as Kansas custodian of an underage drinking enforcement grant from the Department of Justice, also brings resources to bear on the fight against underage drinking.

In January 2009, SPF Implementation Grants were awarded by SRS to the following community partnerships who cooperatively contributed grant funds to the development of this website:
